Riuscirà Call of Juarez nella titanica impresa di riportarci, anche solo per un istante, a quei meravigliosi momenti?
Una storia già vista
La trama di Call of Juarez non è certo il massimo della originalità. Avremo a disposizione due protagonisti: il fuggiasco Billy Candle, ragazzo messicano accusato ingiustamente di omicidio (come tutti i protagonisti che si rispettino) e il reverendo Ray McCall, un simpatico vecchietto che in gioventù pare fosse un abilissimo pistolero, il quale, negli anni a seguire, si è messo al servizio di Dio per assicurare alla giustizia ogni tipo di delinquente.
Di seguito avremo un alternarsi tra Billy e Ray, luno che sfugge allaltro. Con Billy avremo la possibilità di giocare una modalità prettamente stealth, in cui appunto dovremo agire nellombra e risolvere i semplici enigmi che ci sbarreranno la strada. Nei panni di Ray invece vivremo la parte sparatutto del gioco, con diverse armi per il nostro arsenale e tanti nemici da riempire con del buon piombo. Allapparenza tutto pare molto vario e ben strutturato ma non è tutto oro quello che luccica.
