TRAMA :
I Chipmunks e le Chipettes si rilassano su una lussuosa nave da crociera, in rotta verso gli International Musica Awards, ma la tranquillità e il riposo non sono tra le abitudini di Alvin, che trova il modo di divertirsi pericolosamente, disobbedendo alle regole imposte da Dave. Ed è proprio giocando con un aquilone rubato ad un bambino che i sei scoiattoli finiscono naufraghi su un'isola deserta o quasi. Nella fiduciosa attesa che Dave verrà a salvarli, Alvin, Simon, Theodore, Brittany, Jeanette ed Eleanor, abituati ormai ai cibi raffinati e alle comodità, si trovano tutt'altro che a loro agio in quello che dovrebbe essere il loro ambiente naturale.
